Description
Acerum requires More than 25 liters of maple sap to produce a single bottle making it one of the most laborious spirits to distill. It is a very noble brandy that reveals the delicate and refined aromas of distilled maple sap. There’s no added sweeteners or flavorings.
Only ingredients used for fermentation are Quebec maple syrup, water and yeast, before a double distillation in a in a Scottish-style copper still.
Aged in new and used oak barrels for more than a year.
TASTING NOTES
A fruity approach full of lightness, aromas of apple and candied pear, notes of coconut bark, toffee and butterscotch, woody touch slightly pungent and tannic, long creamy and creamy finish of maple butter.
